Unfortunately, the stay was let down by a few practical issues. Some basic essentials were missing when we arrived, including toilet paper and kitchen roll, and although the team said they would order them, they never arrived. There was also no coffee maker, despite it being listed, and we found dead insects in some of the pans. The biggest inconvenience was the late checkout: we had paid for it in advance and had it confirmed, but on the morning of checkout, the cleaner arrived at around 10am expecting us to leave, and we then received a call saying we couldn’t stay late. They did apologise afterwards, but it added unnecessary stress." (6/5)
