It was excellent value for money, especially given the location — directly opposite a large Sainsbury’s, ideal for self‑catering, and only a short walk to the tram for easy access into the centre. Late‑night Uber rides were around £7 and the tram was £3.50, with deals available.

Parking was straightforward, with space outside the apartments until 9am and additional street parking nearby. Inside, the bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were large, and the towels and linen provided were a great extra touch.

I normally stay in high‑quality places, and this accommodation was perfectly suitable for our four‑day trip. What really stood out was the excellent communication and support from the hosts — friendly, responsive, and genuinely accommodating from start to finish. It made a big difference to our stay.
